  • The visits of our International Affairs Task Force to the Consuls General in the Bay Area
  • The presentation of Israel Consul General, Akiva Tor at the time of elections in Israel
  • The receptions held for the Egyptian Ambassador, Sumeh Shoukry to the United States and the Senior Advisor to the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Hassam Zaki
  • The AJC honors bestowed on Steve Bomse and Warren Hellman at celebratory dinners
  • The work of our Latino outreach committee and the Shalom from Mexico event featuring Dina Siegel Vann, Director of AJC's Latin and Latino Affairs Institute
  • The solidifying of our relationship with the Indian American community.  This included an address by prominent Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Nandini Tandon to our Peninsula group while AJC Mumbai representative, Priya Tandon, continued to offer invaluable assistance
  • The visit of the President of the University of California system, Mark Yudof
  • The ACCESS J-REC energy conference that attracted great interest and international press coverage
  • ACCESS members’ attendance at Durban II and participating in the Adenauer program in Germany
  • The visit of the newly appointed Consul General of Germany, Peter Rothen to our office
  • The presentations of John Rothmann, Aryeh Green and Lakshman Ratnapala
  • The Presidents’ Council meetings with National President, Richard Sideman
  • The Annual Meeting of our regional office  and presentations to outgoing president ,Mark Bostick and ACCESS Chairman, Miche Price, the presentation by the author of “Towers of Gold” Frances Dinkelspiel and the installation of Bill Epstein as incoming President
  • The National Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. which was well supported by our members
  • The continued success of the education program (C/JEEP) in Catholic schools ably led by Rabbi Shelley Waldenberg
  • The assistance with Jewish student issues at Berkeley, San José State and San Francisco State
  • The Business & Technology program with Craig Newmark, Inna Boren and Matt Mulenweg 
  • The talk by legal scholar, Abraham Sofaer of Stanford University's Hoover Institution
